Petition seeking travel ban on Bashundhara MD: Court order on Oct 27

A Dhaka court has rescheduled today the date for a decision to issue an order regarding the petition for a travel bans against Bashundhara Group Managing Director Sayem Sobhan Anvir in an action filed in connection with the murder and rape of a student at the Gulshan apartment.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Begum Yasmin Ara set October 27 as her new date, sources from the court confirmed.

The court did not provide any reason for the change in schedule.

The magistrate earlier on September 19 scheduled the date today (October 10) to pass the order following the investigation officer Golam Moktar Azrafuddin, who is an inspector with the PBI filed the petition to the court on the 13th of September.
